Title: A Baby For My Billionaire Boss #2
Author: Cassandra Zara & Annie Young
Genre: Erotic Fiction/Romance
Review: The opening to the second instalment in this series was great we see Jane try and cope with Carter shrugging her off at every opportunity even after their wild night and Jane is determined to capture his intention once more while trying to keep their affair and the baby quiet.
As we cross the ¼ mark in the novel we see Jane change her down attention into a positive so she can work on getting some form of relationship with Carter. I also loved seeing Jane interact with her parents which was great, despite the fact they don’t know they will be grandparents, I feel they would make amazing grandparents and that Jane would be a great, loving mother.
As we approach the half way mark in the novel we see the relationship between Maddie and Jane develop further with Jane asking her for advice for a “friend”. When they finally talk Carter says he doesn’t want to mix business and pleasure but agrees to take Jane to dinner which he promised. Jane immediately goes shopping and finds a jaw-dropping dress and I believe that Carter won’t be able to resist her in it.
As we cross into the second half of the novel they are going to be a little naughty at a high class restaurant, despite Carter wanting to be professional he honestly can’t resist Jane when she is in a determined mood.
One thing I can say about this series is that the author write some absolutely brilliant sex scenes that are hot, steamy and extremely realistic. I also like the tension between the pair because Jane wants more and Carter isn’t sure he can give her what she wants but she is determined to make he try.
In the final section of this novel we see the drama ramp up when Jane and Carter are spotted by someone from work on their date, this person then threatens to tell the whole office about their affair but Jane in her rage refuses to let this bring her down and I honestly can’t wait to read the 3rd book as soon as I can. While I really enjoyed this novel I felt the angst pulled it down a little but it was still a really enjoyable read and I’d highly recommend it.
